Design, Communication & Education, Sustainability!

Design – Innovative and people focused design

Mick Rodic and Associates believe that:

  • Good design enhances lives
  • Good design adds value
  • Good design is enduring

The foundation of our Perth design practice is entrenched in the concept of exploring ideas of how places and buildings can make people’s lives better. We place a strong emphasis on user experience and approach every job as a unique challenge and an exciting opportunity to develop efficient and dynamic buildings. We utilise our wealth of design and construction experience and knowledge to optimise every building’s design, construction methodology and performance.
Our design approach is cultivated and driven by a desire to deliver buildings which are as functionally efficient as they are sensory focussed. We are passionate about design and committed to delivering projects that meet or exceed our client’s expectations. The extensive construction knowledge of our design team enables us to offer practical design solutions sounded on pragmatic construction experience.

Communication and Education – Empower our clients with knowledge

Building relationships and maintaining a healthy dialogue throughout a project is important to us. We recognize how important it is to communicate our ideas so that our clients have a clear and detailed understanding of the project from the design phase through to construction completion. We take the time to explain the project through a range of media from simple sketches to computer generated modelling to ensure our clients understand the design and can visualise the end built form of the project. We like to build long lasting and trusting relationships with our clients and this is evidenced by the number of repeat clients we have. As a long term Inglewood based design business we have built lasting relationships with stakeholders at Local Government level as well as specialist private consultants including Structural Engineers, Building Surveyors, Planners, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Surveyors.

Sustainability – Optimise energy efficiency

Mick Rodic and Associates believe that good design should be intrinsically sustainable and therefore we take a holistic approach to sustainability. Energy efficiency is a cornerstone principle in all our designs.
